Dr. Mark Bensley
MBBS Dip RACOG FRACGP
Dr Bensley has been with the clinic since 1997. Dr Bensley has a keen interest in skin cancer detection and runs a weekly Skin clinic on a Tuesday.

Dr. Peter Lewis
MBBS Dip RACOG
Dr Lewis has been at the clinic since 1991. Peter has an interest in anaesthetics and is a keen cyclist.

Dr. Yan Lu
MBBS FRACGP
Dr. Lu joined the practice in February 2018. After obtaining her fellowship she now works at the clinic part-time. Dr. Lu has completed a Diploma of emergency medicine and has certificates in children’s health, dermoscopy and skin cancer screening. She is also an accredited skin cancer doctor.
Dr. Lu speaks both English and Mandarin.

Dr. Clare Stainsby
MBBS Dip RACOG FRACGP FACRRM
Dr Stainsby joined our practice in 2006. She has an interest in hypnosis and offers private consults for this. Dr Stainsby currently does not take on any new patients. Dr Stainsby does NOT do phone consults. Dr Stainsby works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am-1pm

Dr. David Selvanayagam
MBBS FRACGP
Dr Selvanayagam has been with KMC since 2017. He graduated from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka with his medical degree over a decade ago. He has 8 years of medical experience in Australia including working as a registrar of Medicine and Emergency Medicine at Peninsula Health. He enjoys all areas of General Practice, but his special interests are general medicine and geriatrics. Dr. Selvanayagam also speaks Tamil and Sinhala.

Dr. Satheesh Kumar

MD, MPH, MHP, BAMS
Dr. Satheesh Kumar joined the clinic in February. He works Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. He earned his MD degree from Oceania University of Medicine in Samoa in 2021. In addition to his medical qualifications, Dr. Kumar has an extensive background in traditional and natural medicine as well as public health. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from India and completed a Master's degree in Public Health and Health Promotion at Deakin University in 2009.
His areas of interest include women's health, emergency medicine, and integrative medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Kumar enjoys playing badminton and tennis and loves spending quality time with his family.

Dr Akbar Jamal
Dr Jamal has emergency & critical care experience and experience Neurosurgical Procedures through his work at The Alfred Hospital. He has worked in Monash Clayton Hospital in ICU and has worked in Queensland Hospitals as a Resident Medical Officer. Dr Jamal wants to dedicate himself to being a country GP and getting to know his patients on a personal level. His dedication to General Practice arises from his wide clinical experience and wanting to build long term therapeutic relationships with his patients.

Dr Diane Vargas Reino
​Dr Reino has worked in Tasmania as a Resident training officer and has been working for the past 12 months at Foster Medical Centre as a registrar.

Dr Edward Watkins
​ Dr Edward Watkins has been working as an ICU Fellow and has an extensive knowledge of medicine. He is now following his dream of becoming a GP and is keen on getting to know his patients as an ongoing doctor at Korumburra Medical Centre. He has had a keen interest of emergency medicine over the years and has a Master of Medicine in Critical Care

​ Dr Nishama Gamage is a dedicated and compassionate practitioner with over 6 years of clinical experience across general practice, emergency medicine, orthopedics, pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology. Experienced in hospital and rural general practice and is committed to continuous care for her patients.
